摘要

The fauna of the family Corixidae Leach, 1815 in the Middle East includes 36 species and subspecies in nine genera. Also, Iranian Corixidae comprises 25 species and subspecies in seven genera of which Sigara with 14 recorded species is more diverse than the other genera. The fauna of Iran is the most diverse among the Middle Eastern countries.
