Family Heterogastridae Stål, 1872

摘要

The fauna of the family Heterogastridae Stål, 1872 in the Middle East includes 12 species in six genera, Dinomachellus Scudder, 1957, Dinomachus Distant, 1901, Heterogaster Schilling, 1829, Masoas Distant, 1906, Platyplax Fieber, 1860 and Trinithignus Scudder, 1962. Also, Iranian Heterogastridae is comprised of six species in two genera, Heterogaster (with five species) and Platyplax (with one species). In addition to Iran, this family has been recorded from nine other countries of the Middle East: Turkey, Yemen (six species), Cyprus, Israel (three species), Syria (two species), Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon (one species).
