Family Cymidae Baerensprung, 1860

摘要

The fauna of the family Cymidae Baerensprung, 1860 in the Middle East includes 10 species in two genera, Cymodema Spinola, 1837 and Cymus Hahn, 1832. Also, Iranian Cymidae comprises five species in the genus Cymus. In addition to Iran, this family has been recorded from 10 other countries of the Middle East: Turkey (seven species), Israel (five species), Egypt, Syria (three species), Cyprus, Iraq, Yemen (two species), Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates (one species).
