Family Hebridae Amyot and Serville, 1843

The fauna of the family Hebridae Amyot & Serville, 1843 in the Middle East includes 11 species and subspecies in the genus Hebrus Curtis, 1833. This family has been recorded from 13 countries of the Middle East thus far: Iran (seven species), Israel, Turkey (each with four species), Yemen (three species), Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia (each with two species), Cyprus, Iraq, Lebanon, Oman, Syria, and United Arab Emirates (each with one species).
