Teachers’ Role in an EFL Classroom. Analyzing the Use of Different Methodologies in Face-to-face, Blended and Online Classrooms: A Case Study

The role of teachers will always be relevant when it comes to education. Teaching a foreign language is no exception, as it is the teacher’s responsibility to select, share, and implement the necessary didactic resources with their students, also known as input, in order to achieve the teaching-learning objective. When it comes to teaching and learning foreign languages, ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) play an important role, especially in contexts where the target language is not part of the students’ daily lives. In this case, the purpose of this document is to present the advances of a doctoral thesis, as well as contextualize the project, explain the motivation, share literature, and describe the methodology used for creating resources aimed at improving the teaching and learning of English as a foreign language.
