Statistical Reasoning Levels When Solving Realistic Problems with Technology Support

Statistical education has matured as an independent branch from mathematical education. Students often do not engage with data since it is static and lacks meaning to them. This work presents two statistics activities for college groups, the analysis on statistical reasoning was performed based on the SOLO levels. Two simulators were designed to involve students in data sampling, later they make decisions to solve the problems involving risk.
