Blended Learning for Teacher Training in Computational Thinking and Educational Robotics
摘要
In contemporary educational contexts, there is a growing trend towards the utilization of Educational Robotics and the cultivation of Computational Thinking. This development highlights the increasing need for synergy between education and technology. To address the necessity of equipping teachers with new skills, a two-month Blended Learning training program was implemented involving a group of Early Childhood Education teachers (N = 8) from Tenerife, Spain. The research findings revealed that teachers recognize the significance potential that the development of Computational Thinking and Educational Robots can offer in the educational context. Teachers firmly believe that this enhanced confidence positively impacts the acquisition of crucial skills such as autonomy, decision-making, and more. In conclusion, it is evident that the provision of teacher training is indispensable for enabling educators to effectively incorporate Computational Thinking and Educational Robotics into Early Childhood Education. The significance and benefits of implementing Blended Learning programs specifically tailored to this domain are substantial. Blended Learning offers a flexible and immersive learning environment for.
