摘要

The representation of male and female figures in cities suffers from an imbalance, with less recognition given to the footprint of women. This study aims to identify the main methods and digital tools to make visible the achievements of women in history by creating a transnational digital map, considering the previous knowledge of women’s footprint. The methodology used was qualitative, employing the phenomenological method. The potential participants consisted of young people and stakeholders. The young participants were students from different disciplines with knowledge of history and gender studies, while the stakeholders were chosen based on opportunity and convenience. Through classical content analysis, the most relevant discourses were categorized and codified. The main result is related to the importance of making women’s footprint visible in history, implementing the use of different methods with a technological approach and dynamic and interactive audiovisual resources. A transnational map complemented with audio resources and interactive images can be a very useful tool to engage young people in their learning about the footprint of women in Europe and complement it with artificial intelligence to give voices to women in history.
