Social Networks in Higher Education: A Tool for Sharing and Coordination. Case of Closed Groups of Distance Learning
摘要
Social networks are evolving from a simple tool of social communication and entertainment to a real pedagogical tool in university education. Several studies have shown the importance of integrating social networks into teaching and as a platform for coordinating and sharing experiences and knowledge. In this research paper, we studied Instagram groups created for third-year computer technology students enrolled in distance education. The analysis of the publications of these groups allowed us to identify considerable results. First, there was a great involvement of students through the number of publications generated. Secondly, the quality of sharing and comments, especially scientific, technological and coordination, takes precedence over other types of publications. Thirdly, the scientific and professional contribution of the different types of publications seems to us to be very useful for the actors of this training. .
