Chords and Scales Applications: A Case Study Towards the Application in Music Education and Technology
摘要
This article presents a small case study on the analysis and description of the musical software used in the recognition of chords and scales. The objective is to demonstrate that the use of technology in musical activities can improve the user experience in analysis, composition, instrumental practice and improvisation. The article has been carried out with a methodology based on experience, previously with a theoretical foundation. Three softwares have been selected and their functionalities have been evaluated with respect to the main objective of this document. Once the results exposed in a comparative way, it is concluded in the benefits that technology has in music and in its teaching and learning. The paper is structured in sections starting with the introduction which includes the objectives followed by the section on the state of the art, the methodology, the application of the comparative analysis and finally the conclusions.
