Multi-Dimensional Mentoring Framework Within the Context of PhD Students of the Doctorate Program of Formation in the Knowledge Society of the University of Salamanca
摘要
The Multi-Dimensional Mentoring Framework (MDMF) enhances traditional mentoring by addressing academic, personal, and professional challenges faced by PhD students. The framework offers tailored support through a virtual group mentoring approach. In this model, PhD students connect online with peers and mentors, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking. We applied the MDMF to the University of Salamanca’s Doctorate Program of Formation in the Knowledge Society, using virtual group mentoring. Results indicate that integrating this model in doctoral training fosters collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking, aided by technology’s flexibility and sense of community. This study is valuable for stakeholders invested in comprehensive doctoral student development.
