摘要

The term nature deficit is a concept that refers to the consequences of a lack of contact with the natural world. In recent years, there has been a growth in the study of the causes and implications of children spending increasingly less time in the natural environment. This work states the main results of recent research on this issue, with particular emphasis on the importance of the influence of this lack of contact in an early age and the benefits produced by performing activities in natural spaces. It demonstrates the need to conduct educational activities in the natural environment to maximise the benefits of establishing a greater connection between children and nature.
