摘要

The constant connectivity that characterizes modern society and, more specifically, the new generations, brings with it many possibilities as well as risks. Technology can have consequences ranging from cognition to identity development. For their part, social networks as new spaces for socialization can continue to perpetuate stereotypical and hegemonic gender identities and expressions. Therefore, a pedagogical analysis of the new digital context is required to understand the social reality and offer appropriate educational responses to the new needs that arise, taking into account a gender perspective. In this regard, this work focuses on analyzing the reality of minors in social networks, the content they consume and the social media influencers that become their models to check whether their messages influence the conception and expression of gender of minors. This is intended to be a first step that allows education to also address the new virtual contexts, since they may be influencing the identity development of minors.
