Digital Health for the Ageing Population
摘要
Digital health has transformed healthcare; it is important to ensure digital technology is accessible and equitable for all, including the ageing population. This chapter describes the common digital health interventions used in the aging population: monitoring health behaviors and outcomes, supporting self-management, facilitating access to healthcare providers and services, and connecting with community-based resources. To ensure successful implementation of age-friendly digital solutions, factors such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions must be considered. Multifaceted strategies, including awareness and education, user-centered design, as well as regulations and policies, can be used to improve the implementation outcomes.
