Translational Research in Nanotechnology for Biomedical Applications
摘要
The novel or improved physicochemical characteristics of nanomaterials and particularly nanoparticles relative to bulk material has exploded in recent years. The domains of agriculture, medicine, food industry, electronics, and many other fields have all found new applications of nanoparticles for positive attributes. Three main types carbon-based, organic, and inorganic nanoparticles are highlighted in this chapter. The methods for the synthesize of these nanoparticles including top-down approach such as thermal decomposition, mechanical milling, laser ablation, sputtering, and bottom-up approach such as chemical vapour deposition, spinning, pyrolysis, sol-gel, biological synthesis were investigated. The potential application of nanoparticles in biomedical sectors such as drug delivery including medication and gene, diagnosis including bioimaging, biosensor, therapies including wound, antimicrobial, cancer, and nanotheranostics were discussed. This detailed overview comprise both foundational findings and exploratory advancements in nanoparticles research, which may eventually lead to useful innovations.
