Total Least Square Problems

The earliest ideas about the total least squares (TLS) can be traced back to the paper of Pearson in 1901 (Cirrincione and Cirrincione in Neural-based orthogonal data fitting-the EXIN neural networks. John Wiley & Sons Inc, Publication, 2010), who considered an approximate method for solving the matrix equation Ax = b when in both A and b there exist errors.
