摘要

There is no special preparation for routine thoracic aortic CTA examination. However, rescue equipment, medication, and measures for patients with contrast agent allergy warrant special attention. Patients with suspected aortic dissection should undergo first aid and management measures in response to aortic rupture during CT examination. For patients with suspected Takayasu’s arteritis and no upper limb pulsations, the affected forearm should be placed close to the trunk to understand the brachial artery collateral blood supply, and the scanning range should include the neck to discern the involvement of cervical vessels.
