CT Angiography of the Urogenital System
摘要
To ensure the accuracy of the examination, the intake of medications containing heavy metals and the use of gastrointestinal barium examinations must be avoided for a week prior to CT scanning. The patient should take low-residue foods at night before the examination, and 4-h fasting before the procedure. To achieve optimal image contrast for the stomach and duodenum, patients should consume 500–1000 mL of warm water approximately 2 h or 15–20 min prior to the scan, with an additional 200–300 mL of warm water immediately before the examination while lying on the examination bed.
