CT Angiography of the Abdominal Aorta
摘要
The patient is informed about the procedure and provided with breathing instructions before the examination. The entire abdomen can be imaged during a single breath-hold. Non-enhanced CT scans are used to detect calcified plaques and obtain baseline information on certain diseases. The patient is imaged in a supine position while holding their breath. The scanning range extends from the lower edge of the 11th thoracic vertebra to 2 cm below the iliac crest line. The tube voltage is set to 120 kV, the tube current is 100 mA, and the slice thickness is 5–10 mm.
