Human Factors

The ability to get a variety of human skills to work together is key to successful project management. This chapter describes the different roles needed to make projects work, and information systems project features that make managing human relationships critical to project success. The relationship of conflict and project performance is discussed. The chapter discusses the role of project managers and the high risks associated with that critical job.
