摘要

In recent years, with the spread of COVID-19, remote classes have started to operate in many universities as a useful method for successive education. Remote classes can provide a place and location for free learning, students can learn at their own pace based on self-directed study. However, it is necessary to make the follow-up system for students who are struggling with self-directed learning, since the remote classes is performed without complementary support and the self-directed learning requires autonomy. Therefore, in this research, we have developed a practical system that can recommend learning methods suitable for individual students. In order to match the individual student, we focus on each personality as their feature in recommending a study method. Calculation and memorization skills were measured as basic learning abilities, while the personality profiler test proposed by Yatabe-Gilford was performed at the same time. As a first step, this paper will discuss whether a correlation exists between personality and learning abilities for analyzing the adaptability in self-directed learning.
