A System to Display the Intention Behind Shogi AI’s Move as a Series of Reading Sequences

In recent years, Shogi AI has reached a level far beyond that of humans. As a result, it has become difficult to understand the meaning of Shogi AI moves. In this study, we propose a system that highlights the aim of a natural move by displaying the reading of the move. In order to achieve a natural move, the tuned AI was trained to select a move that is easy for amateurs with the highest playing population rating to choose. This allowed the system to represent the intention of a particular move as a series of reading sequences.
