Exploiting Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) for Product Safety and Quality Control in Supply Chain Management

Present product supply chain system frequently lacks sufficient traceability mechanisms, making it challenging to pinpoint the root of product safety problems, keep track of product quality, and guarantee regulatory compliance. As a result, there is a growing need to reconsider managing the product supply chain in order to assure traceability. Traceability enables businesses to track originated products from their place of origin to the point of consumption, thus it is a crucial part of managing the product supply chain. By improving accountability, traceability, and efficiency, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain are assisting in finding answers to these challenges. The function of AI, IoT, and blockchain in managing the supply chain for goods is examined in this paper. It focuses on the potential advantages of implementing these technologies in the product industry, such as improved product safety, real-time monitoring of product quality, and increased supply chain visibility. It also looks at other applications, such as decentralized product traceability systems, smart packaging, and predictive analytics. The paper also discusses ways to get through the obstacles that come with implementing these technologies in the product supply chain.
