Cytosolic Calcium Distribution and Thrombin Receptor Activation
摘要
Since, receptor plays significant role in calcium signalling and to understand the mechanism of signalling in detail; an essential component is the mechanism of receptor activation. The mobilization of intracellular calcium from intracellular stores depends upon binding of the agonist to the cell surface receptor. In this chapter to understand thrombin receptor activation, a fractional model incorporating the derivation of an arbitrary order and having non-singular kernel is analyzed. Then the calcium signaling in red blood cells is studied via a fractional model that provides useful predictions that can help us understand how Ca \(^{2+}\) signaling works.
