Result 1: Detection of a New Gamma-Ray Source TASG J1844−038 in the HESS J1843−033 Region

This work detects, at a $$6.2\, \sigma $$ level, a new gamma-ray source TASG J1844−038 above $$25\, \textrm{TeV}$$ with a centroid at $$(\alpha _\textrm{J2000}, \, \delta _\textrm{J2000}) = (281.09^{\circ }\pm 0.10^{\circ },\, -3.76^{\circ }\pm 0.09^{\circ })$$ in the vicinity of HESS J1843−033. The extension of TASG J1844−038 is estimated to be $$0.34^{\circ }\pm 0.12^{\circ }$$ . The gamma-ray energy spectrum of TASG J1844−038 is measured in $$25\, \textrm{TeV}
