Surveillance, Prevention, and Management of Neoplasms in Children with DSD
摘要
Patients with Disorders of sexual differentiation (DSD) are at risk of various malignancies, predominantly, germ cell gonadal tumors, but also non-germ cell gonadal tumors and extra gonadal tumors. The risk differs according to the type of DSD, being the highest in patients with Y chromosome and gonadal dysgenesis. The risk also increases with age. In this chapter, we discuss the pathology, risk factors, surveillance, and management of malignancy in patients with DSD.
