Algorithm for Management of Children with DSD

A child with ambiguous genitalia has always been considered more of a social emergency than a medical emergency. The management of a child with disorders of sexual development or sex differentiation (DSD) is a multi-specialty consensus approach focused firstly at evaluation of the cause and thereafter to carry out the medical and surgical management along with paying due attention to the counselling of the affected children and their families. The chapter outlines the noteworthy points or working algorithm for evaluating and managing the patients with DSD.
