Nano-liquid Metal Manufacture
摘要
Liquid metals (LM) have demonstrated good biocompatibility, electrical conductivity, and mobility at room temperature, which have been of great value in the fields of flexible electronics, soft robotics, precision medicine, etc. However, the practical applications are often limited by the high surface tension of macroscopic LM, which has led to more and more attention to liquid metal nanoparticles (LMNPs), and thus a variety of fabrication of LMNPs has mushroomed in recent years. In this chapter, we first introduce the different appearances of LMNPs around their morphology, then illustrate the various preparation processes from top-to-bottom and bottom-to-up perspectives, explain the further modification after preparation, and finally summarize and reflect on the different fabrication methods.
