Spice Simulation of Solution Processed Bottom Gate Bottom Contact Organic Thin Film Transistor

The fabrication of solution processed organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) incorporating bottom-gate bottom-contact (BGBC) configuration along with a detailed analysis in predicting their potential circuit applications such as inverter and ring oscillators are reported. The spice level-1 model parameters are extracted to simulate the experimental characteristics of the BGBC OTFT. The simulation of the saturation load inverter with various widths of the saturation load transistor is demonstrated. The simulation is further extended to realize three-stage ring oscillator using the saturation load inverter in LT-Spice XVII tool simulator.
