Key Technologies in Underwater Optical Wireless Communication

摘要

Due to the advantages of high speed, low latency, and high confidentiality, underwater optical wireless communication (UOWC) has become the main means of underwater wireless communication. In recent years, this technology has developed rapidly, and the technical requirements for UOWC systems have also become increasingly high. This article provides a brief summary of the models and research status of the UOWC system, focusing on the key technologies used in the UOWC system, including the selection of light sources, modulation and coding, detection, channel modeling, and other key technologies. It also elaborates on the influencing factors and modeling of the theoretical channel model of UOWC. Finally, it summarizes the future development trends and challenges faced by UOWC for achieving long-distance underwater communication and high-speed transmission. This provides a reference for the future development direction and practicality of UOWC.
