Atmospheric-Turbulence Suppression Methods in Optical Wireless Communication

In optical wireless communication systems, the optical signal is affected by atmospheric turbulence during atmospheric-channel transmissions. Therefore, it is important to study methods for suppressing atmospheric turbulence in the development of optical wireless communication. This chapter analyzes the effects of atmospheric turbulence on optical wireless communication systems. It presents the current domestic and foreign research on suppressing atmospheric turbulence and finally presents future development trends and outlooks.
