Spatial Optical-Fiber Coupling Technology
摘要
This chapter summarizes the research progress of spatial light to optical-fiber coupling technology in aims to improve the coupling efficiency in optical wireless communication, and introduces the research work of Xi’an University of Technology in this field, including the automatic alignment in spatial light to optical-fiber coupling, optical mode conversion in free space, adaptive optics wavefront correction in spatial light to optic fiber coupling, and design of the Maksutov–Cassegrain integrated transceiver antenna. In addition, the research progress of coupling performance by using lens array to single-mode fiber and Maksutov–Cassegrain receiving antenna in atmospheric turbulence are introduced. Finally, the development of spatial light to optical-fiber coupling technology in optical wireless communication is prospected.
