Early-age Cracking Control on Concrete with 5D Hooked-End Steel Fiber
摘要
5D hooked-end steel fibers have better anchoring and mechanical properties compared to traditional steel fibers, significantly enhancing early-age behavior of concrete and structural integrity. In this chapter, early-age cracking control on concrete with 5D hooked-end steel fibers were investigated by ring test and Temperature Stress Test Machine test. Mechanical properties, autogenous shrinkage, and stress behavior of high strength concrete were investigated. The results showed that 5D hooked-end fibers not only enhanced strength and reduced shrinkage, but also significantly improved early-age cracking resistance of high strength concrete under both circumferential and uniaxial restrained conditions.
