Techniques and Methods for Evaluating the Early-age Cracking Resistance of Modern Concrete
摘要
The cracking of concrete affects the service life of structures, and even causes safety accidents. Therefore, an in-depth investigation of parameters which relate to the cracking resistance of concrete is necessary. This chapter presented the computational theories, research methods, and the corresponding test apparatus for the parameters, including (1) the evaluation on the internal relative humidity by digital resistance-based sensors, (2) the evaluation on early-age autogenous shrinkage by non-contact sensors, (3) the evaluation on mechanical properties, (4) the evaluation on the tensile creep properties such as basic tensile creep, tensile creep coefficient, and specific tensile creep, (5) the evaluation on the cracking resistance of concrete under circumferential restrained condition, and (6) the evaluation on the cracking resistance of concrete under uniaxial restrained condition.
