Specifically, this chapter will elaborate on various detection methodologies, categorized by their distinct feature extraction methods, analysis approaches, and vectorization techniques post feature extraction. These include detection methods based on permissions, APIs, and components; dynamic runtime feature-based detection methods; code semantics-based detection methods; image-based detection methods; and graph analysis-based detection methods.
