Synthetic Aperture Imaging

In this chapter, synthetic aperture imaging is introduced. Optical synthetic aperture imaging technology is a typical method to improve the optical resolution of imaging systems, mainly through the synthesis of image data of multiple small-aperture optical systems equivalent to the imaging effect of large-aperture optical systems, while reducing the quality of equipment and complexity of processing technology, but also greatly improve the imaging resolution, has great application value. The research and application progress of this technique in some fields has accelerated. Synthetic aperture imaging has made great progress in the research and development of acoustic nondestructive testing, medical ultrasound imaging and other fields, and has expanded to other fields such as optical and microwave imaging.
