Enhancing Lettuce Production Quality Through IoT-Enabled Hydroponic Farming: An Optimized Fertilizer System Approach

This paper introduces the concept of hydroponic farming integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) as a means to optimize fertilizer usage and enhance the quality of lettuce production. The proposed approach focuses on developing a fertilizer system that can be set daily within the hydroponic framework. By leveraging IoT technologies, the system can dynamically monitor the data of sensors used in this project (pH sensor and EC sensor) and control the nutrient levels provided to lettuce crops. Through real-time data analysis, the fertilizer system can effectively adjust and optimize the nutrient delivery process to promote optimal growth and improved quality of lettuce yields. This system can be monitored and controlled via web and mobile web.
