Research on the Energy Storage System of Flying Wheels Based on Model Prediction Current Control

摘要

In order to meet the complex working conditions of the flywheel energy storage system, this paper studies the flywheel energy storage system based on model predictive current control. Based on the characteristics of flywheel energy storage, the model predictive current control algorithm is used to improve the performance of the motor. First, the model predictive current equation is derived through the forward Euler method, and then the minimum voltage vector is selected as the three-phase voltage inverter through the set cost function. Finally, the simulation results are compared with the traditional vector control, which shows that the model predictive current control can effectively improve the starting performance and following performance of the motor, and can effectively improve the operation performance of the flywheel energy storage system.
