Analysis of Multiple Field Coupling Conditions of Rail Gun Arc Suppressor

摘要

The arc suppressor can effectively eliminate the residual electric energy at the end of launch, and improve the ablation resistance of rail. Because of the arc suppressor mainly bears the action of electromagnetic force at the end of launch, to analyze the effect of electromagnetic force, establishing an electromagnetic simulation model of arc suppressor, and simulating the electromagnetic force at the end of the launch, the results show that the distribution of electromagnetic force is mainly related to the current path. Using the magnetic-solid coupling analysis, and loading the electromagnetic force into the structure field, static analysis is carried out on the arc suppressor, the analysis results show that the structural strength meets the design requirements. The magnetic-solid coupling analysis can be used to obtain the effect of electromagnetic force on structure field, providing a technical scheme for the structure design of arc extinguisher in the future.
