An Adaptive Mesh Method for Multi Physical Field Coupling of Electromagnetic Rail Launcher
摘要
The finite element calculation of EMRL (electromagnetic rail launcher) in 3D scale occupies a large physical memory. In order to obtain dynamic calculation results more economically, this paper proposes an adaptive mesh method. The contact surface adopts split nodes. The electromagnetic calculation results under an adaptive mesh model are in good agreement with those under a constant mesh model, verifying the reliability of the method. In addition, the C-type EMRL are compared and analyzed. The results show that the temperature of the armature is underestimated in the frictionless heat, and under the action of frictional heat, the trailing edge of the armature is ablated and melted due to the influence of velocity skin effect.
