Electronic Nose Using Machine Learning Techniques

摘要

Electronic nose (e-nose) is a combination of specific sensor’s having particular characteristic, due to their wide spectrum of application in sectors like industrial sector (environment, food and beverages, etc.,) to analyze the heterogeneous and homogeneous data using a single method is not possible. In this chapter, we will be discussing how this data can be classified using various machine learning algorithms. We will also discuss how new advance machine learning models like XGBoost, GBDT, etc. work. As well, basic models like SVM, RF, ANN, etc. can be used to analyze data obtained from above-mentioned sectors. We will also discuss how machine learning algorithms are helpful optimum output and discuss how in various fields they are used.
