Digitalization (ICTs) of Higher Education for Achieving Sustainable Development Goal for Education (SDG4)

Technology advancements have recently had a significant impact on our society as well as other educational contexts, such as Education for Sustainable Development. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have enabled many individuals to live better lives. Integration of ICT can bridge the digital divide and provide the unreached with a wealth of educational and employment options. The purpose of this research is to examine the scientific evidence on the use of ICTs for Sustainable Development. The article draws substantial information using qualitative methods. To extract inferences from the findings, inconspicuous techniques such as conceptual analysis and document analysis were also used. The results support the fact that, in-spite of ICT policy and infrastructure, ICT use and influence on SDGs are not always high. According to the findings, policy, institutional, departmental, and individual levels all need reform. Based on the technical advancement and socio-economic growth in regional and national contexts, the recommendations may be applicable globally.
