摘要

Responsible leadership is a crucial factor in determining the success of an organization, and responsible leadership is increasingly acknowledged as an essential element in fostering favourable outcomes. The purpose of this study is to better understand how responsible leadership and the calibre of relationships between the team and the leader affect knowledge sharing (KS). Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) is used in the study to analyse data gathered from 385 people working in diverse Indian businesses. The results of the study show that KS is positively impacted by responsible leadership. The findings imply that responsible leadership promotes information sharing among team members, which improves problem-solving and decision-making. In addition, the quality of the relationship with the team as well as the relationship with the leader directly affects knowledge retention (KS). These findings highlight the significance of strong bonds between team members and leaders since they have a direct bearing on organizational results. In order to improve team performance, organizations should prioritize responsible leadership techniques and support a KS culture. To promote KS and create a supportive work environment, leaders should make an effort to develop strong relationships with their team members. The results also imply that organizations should spend money on training programmes for leaders to improve their leadership abilities and give them the tools they need to improve connections with their workforce. The sample size and cross-sectional nature of the data, among other study's flaws, limit the capacity to infer causality. Despite this, the study offers insightful information about the crucial roles that responsible leadership and the calibre of relationships have in advancing KS and enhancing team performance. The mechanisms behind the link between responsible leadership and KS need to be further investigated in order to give organizational leaders with useful advice.
