Leaders as Active Creators of Ethical Organizational Culture: A Study of MSME Leaders from India

This paper titled “Leaders as active creators of ethical organizational culture:—A Study of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Leaders from India” discusses leadership values and Environment Social and Governance factors that help create Ethical culture in India. In Sect. 17.1, the author discusses leadership values that foster ethical culture. We may classify them as values for themselves and values in themselves. In the Sect. 17.2, the leadership legacy is discussed. An MSME leader wants to be someone who excels as a leader, as a person, and who creates an ethical organization. The paper's Sect. 17.3 discusses factors such as collaboration, employee safety, walks the talk, training in moral values, fairness toward shareholders, environmental stewardship, and co-creation of values in creating an ethical culture among the MSME companies. The paper uses qualitative research using a structured interview conducted among 16 MSME owners from India.
