Responsible Future Leaders: Global Citizen Education Embedded Business and Management Programs in Vietnam
摘要
In this chapter, a case study on successful implementation of United Nations Principles of Responsive Management Education (PRME) through a Global Citizen Education Development Program (GCED) in a Vietnam based Australian business school is discussed. The perspectives of various stakeholders such as education administrators, faculty, non-teaching staffs were collected through interviews and focus group discussions. The objective of the GCED program was to inculcate intercultural understandings, global corporate attitudes, responsible behaviors, and awareness of ethical concerns among learners to prepare them to be responsible future leaders. Several pedagogical approaches to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes for being responsible global leaders are discussed.
