Analyzing Responsible Leadership Effectiveness for Attainment of Sustainable Development Goals in Developing Countries Using Environmental Scanning Techniques
摘要
The motive of this chapter is to examine the efficacy of responsible leadership in attainment of sustainable development goals (SDGs) in developing countries. This chapter analyzes the efficacy of responsible leadership in attainment of SDGs through different environmental scaling techniques. Findings ratify that responsible leadership is a crucial factor in the attainment of SDGs in both developing and developed nations with the aim to eradicate poverty, ensure good health and well-being, promote quality education, foster economic growth, reduce inequality, promote sustainable communities, and combat climate change, among others. The present chapter can be supportive of effective responsible public–private leadership efforts in the direction of attaining SDGs in developing countries. The outcome can also be helpful for sustainability planners, political, corporate managers and leaders in attainment of SDGs and to acknowledge the role of responsible leadership in accomplishing SDGs.
