Introduction

In this chapter, we first describe the concept of responsible leadership through various philosophical thoughts. We explain the role of responsible leadership for attaining United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG). We further introduce briefly the contents of the book. The book is divided into four sections. The chapters in the first section describe the theoretical perspectives on Leadership. The second section focuses on various perspectives on “Leading Digitization in Organization.” The third section describes the applications of “Leadership Role in Sustainability and environmental integrity.” The fourth section explains the role of “Ethics and Values in Leadership” and finally we conclude with a section on “Harnessing Human energy in Leadership.”
