摘要

Fault information is more and more accessible to be obtained by the wide application of the devices of digital fault recorders and microcomputer protection etc. in power systems. Among it, non-operational data can be used to achieve such functions as equipment maintenance, disturbance analysis, fault detection, and system planning, etc. To do this, various fault feature parameters have to be separated from fault recording. In this paper there conducted an review of fault recording analysis and its theories and algorithms from the three perspectives: time-domain analysis, analysis combining time and frequency domain, and analysis using space vectors. The research status of the offline and online setting of microcomputer protection devices using fault recording is also briefly introduced. Results show that although fault analysis strategies including artificial intelligence are already quite mature, electrical physical quantities themselves are not mined deeply enough by various algorithms. It is still necessary to study new theories of fault analysis from different perspectives and new algorithms which are convenient to be applied in practice.
