Calculation of Electric Field Distribution of the 66kV XLPE Cable Middle Joints

摘要

This article uses ANSYS Maxwell software to establish a calculation model and simulate the electric field at the silicone rubber middle joint of 66kV XLPE cable. The simulation steps include modeling, dividing regions, meshing, setting boundary conditions, driving calculations, and solving voltage distribution and electric field extremum values. Simulations were conducted on the voltage distribution and electric field distribution of cable middle joints with free joints, without stress cone joints, and with stress cone joints (A and B structures). The size parameters of the inner shielding tube and structure of the stress cone inside the cable joints were optimized. By designing and optimizing the structure of the 66kV cable middle joint through simulation, a basis is provided for the structural design of the cable middle joint.
