Evaluation of Control Ability of Multi-type Energy Storage Power Station Based on AHP

Due to the characteristics of fast response and bidirectional adjustment, the new energy storage technology can effectually solve the challenges of grid stability and reliability brought by a high proportion of new energy connected to the grid. In order to meet the needs of the power grid in terms of peak regulation, frequency regulation and voltage regulation, this paper first establishes a new energy storage power station regulation capability evaluation system including multiple indicators of peak regulation, frequency regulation and voltage regulation based on the performance characteristics of the energy storage power station, then proposes a regulation capability evaluation model using analytic hierarchy process, and finally calculates and evaluates the regulation capability of three different types of energy storage power stations. The findings demonstrate that this methodology offers a theoretical foundation for resource allocation of energy storage power stations, and has certain practical value.
